Recently, PlayStation Has Been Revealing News about the PlayStation 5
In this review, we’re analyzing the full PlayStation 5 live stream to see how PlayStation is pushing forward to next-generation gaming. Over the last few months, fans of PlayStation have been receiving news regarding the PlayStation 5. From the DualSense controller to technical schematics of the PlayStation 5. All of the news has been incredibly insightful at how powerful the PlayStation 5 will be. With that said, there hasn’t been a demonstration of the power of the PlayStation 5. While each of the pieces of news shows something new, there hasn’t been a visual news. Then on June 11, 2020, a PlayStation 5 live stream came live for everyone to see. Within this live stream, fans can see physical demonstrations and the potential of the PlayStation 5.
Within this PlayStation 5 live stream, there’s so much that viewers can look forward to. Does this live stream live up to PlayStation’s fans expectations? Does it show the true potential of the PlayStation 5? Let’s find out together. In this review, we’re analyzing the full PlayStation 5 live stream to see how PlayStation is pushing forward to next-generation gaming.
PlayStation 5 Live Stream Brings Grand Theft Auto V Back in All its GloryOne of the first games that this PlayStation 5 live stream introduces is Grand Theft Auto: V. This announcement isn’t surprising. Since not only is the Grand Theft Auto fanbase is still so strong. Most individuals who own a PlayStation have this particular game. Plus, this gives Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive Software time to get to know the PlayStation 5. Remasters or enhancements are a perfect way for video game companies to jump into a new console. Which leads to much better and deeper projects in the future. From what we see in this trailer, the graphics look much crisper in addition to smoother than the PlayStation 4 Pro. Currently, the PlayStation 4 Pro is the most powerful PlayStation on the video game market.
The character models are still from the PlayStation 4 era. However, the textures, water effects, and a lot of the weapons receive a 4K update. In fact, the fact that this game is getting both an enhancement and expansion will bring interest to those who have yet to play this game. With that said, Jim Ryan the President and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, LLC. discusses the jump PlayStation is making to modern gaming.
Jim Ryan Discusses the History of PlayStation Leading Up to Now
After the announcement of Grand Theft Auto: V, the President, and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, LLC. Jim Ryan makes a statement. He goes into detail about how PlayStation is changing. As such, Jim discusses how the PlayStation 5 will revolutionize the video game industry. According to PlayStation’s official YouTube channel under the video [ENGLISH] PS5 – THE FUTURE OF GAMING SHOW, Jim Ryan states that “within this PlayStation 5 live stream, these games will show where PlayStation is moving forward” (5:38 – 5:41). Essentially, this means that PlayStation will be moving forward in the industry. Showing things that haven’t otherwise been seen before. Furthermore, this means that video game companies can create the most interactive worlds imaginable.
As Jim Ryan expresses the new changes coming to the PlayStation 5, this PlayStation 5 live stream continues with a new game from the Marvel universe. Particularly within the Spider-Man series with Marvel Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
PlayStation Announces During the PlayStation 5 Live Stream Marvel Spider-Man: Miles MoralesOnce Jim Ryan explains the process forward for PlayStation, this live stream reveals a new Spider-Man game coming to the PlayStation 5. More importantly, a new Spider-Man game focusing around Miles Morales. For those who are unaware, Miles Morales is the same Spider-Man within Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse film. Seeing this Spider-Man reclaiming his role is incredibly exciting. In fact, many fans of Spider-Man absolutely love Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse. With that said, the graphics look incredible. The textures and character models look miles better than anything on the PlayStation 4 Pro. There’s a ton of action and adventure that is typical to come out of a superhero game. However, some changes stray away from a typical Spider-Man adventure. The fact that the audience gets to see Spider-Man use stealth, electricity and even fire like abilities are different.
Which makes the audience’s questions rise. Is this the suit or is it something that happens to Spider-Man to give him this ability? Without a doubt, this PlayStation 5 live stream has shown audiences a game that will be well received by everyone. It wouldn’t be surprising if this game comes out release of the PlayStation 5. While this PlayStation 5 live stream reveals this game, the next racing stuns fans with its return.
Gran Turismo 7 Drives Its Way onto the PS5 During the PlayStation 5 Live Stream
After the reveal of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, this PlayStation 5 live stream displays a new Gran Turismo. Essentially, Gran Turismo 7 is a racing game with realistic cars. Unlike other racing games that rely on crazy items and light-heart fun like Mario Kart 8: Deluxe. Without a doubt, this is a game for individuals who love cars. One of the intriguing things about this game is the graphics. Gran Turismo is one of the franchises that have the most realistic graphics. At times, it’s hard to see what cinematography is and what is real. As such, it makes sense to make Gran Turismo 7 for the PlayStation 5. In order to show the absolute power of the PlayStation 5. This PlayStation 5 live stream consistently wants to show the power and changes coming to PlayStation.
It wouldn’t be surprising if Gran Turismo 7 releases the day or shortly after the release of PlayStation 5. In order to show what is coming to the PlayStation 5. While Gran Turismo 7 grands graphics are making their way to the PlayStation 5, a classic duo of Ratchet and Clank return for another adventure.
The Classic Duo Ratchet and Clank Return for Another Adventure During the PlayStation 5 Live StreamA classic duo is coming back to the PlayStation 5. This PlayStation 5 live stream announced Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Over the years, Ratchet & Clank has gone through some difficult moments. With the film in addition to the other games, the franchise has been on unsteady ground. Both pieces of media were given mix reviews. Bringing a videogame into a film is incredibly challenging to do. If not done by the right writers, directors, and producers. Also, the games were starting to stray away from the story of the series. With that, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart looks like a good change from past projects. With high-speed action and witty dialogue, this gameplay brought back memories of the original game.
That is one of the most charming things about this series. The dialogue exchange between Ratchet and Clank needs to be witty and fun. With that said, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart brings new items, weapons, characters, and warping capabilities. While we don’t know a whole lot, this gameplay trailer shows enough to get audiences wanting more. This PlayStation 5 live stream brought a franchise not many were expecting to see again. With the same amount of love and passion as the original games. Project Athia has caught the eye of many Square Enix fans.
Square Enix Brings a New Project to the PlayStation 5 Live Stream with Project AthiaThe next game that this PlayStation 5 live stream reveals is Project Athia. Granted, this title is a work in process title. Typically, this happens when a project is in incredibly early stages. On the other hand, the ones creating this project simply haven’t made a name yet. Which for anyone who is creative will know that naming a project is incredibly challenging? Anyway, this one reveal came out of left field. Honestly, this reveal at first looks like something from Final Fantasy. Since Square Enix is the company that is responsible for the Final Fantasy franchise. However, Square Enix reveals that both they and Luminous Productions are in the process of making a new game. From what we see in this gameplay trailer, Project Athia looks like a possible monster hunter, open-world game.
With that said, we don’t know a whole bunch about this game. One thing that should be noted is the texture. Without a doubt, Project Athia is showing the power and potential of the PlayStation 5. The amount of detail that is in this game looks phenomenal. In fact, there’s one moment where a skeleton dragon appears, and the amount of detail shown is amazing. Project Athia looks phenomenal and will be sought out by Square Enix fans. With this reveal, viewers get a taste of a new game name Stray.
Stray Experiments With a New World Within this PlayStation 5 Live Stream
Within this PlayStation 5 live stream, viewers get a first taste at Stray. At first glance, Stray looks like a robot-run world where the player plays as a cat. The cat seems to have a package or something on its back to receive mail. Unfortunately, not much is known about this particular game. However, the trailer that the viewers see gives a little bit up for the imagination. One of the things that is intriguing about this game is the details of this game. Both the robot and cat look incredibly smooth and realistic. In fact, the textures and background look very generation. Lights illuminate off of objects so smoothly and effectively.
Honestly, at first glance, this game looks like it’s going to be a relaxing yet world-building game. Now, this can change as we learn more. At the moment, there are only theories and speculations as to what Stray will be. Regardless, this game looks like a wonderful way to show the changes coming to the PlayStation 5. As Stray shows the changes coming to the PlayStation 5, this PlayStation 5 live stream shows off the capability of the new DualSense controller.
This PlayStation 5 Live Stream Brings More Important Controller Information
After the reveal of Stray, this PlayStation 5 live stream goes into more description details on the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller. Previously, PlayStation has made an article showing off the capability of the DualSense controller. In fact, I did a review on Geek Street Society of that article hoping that there would be been some visual demonstrations. Since up to this PlayStation 5 live stream, audiences had yet to see any visual demonstrations of this controller. These changes in this direction where we get to see how the DualSense controller truly shines. Everything that the article presents shows itself in this section.
According to the official PlayStation YouTube page under the video DualSense Wireless Controller Video | PS5, Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC. states that “the PlayStation 5 Dual Sense will have motion capability, responsive controls, and a more realistic experience with games” (0:05 – 0:21). This means that the DualSense controller will bring gamers into the next level of gaming as oppose to the current controller. This new reveal sections proves once again the amount of lengths PlayStation is willing to do to change their system. To bring their systems into the new generation. Being able to change the very dynamics of what it means to game. With this visual reveal of the DualSense controller, the live stream continues with a game-changing game name Returnal.
Returnal Proves that the PlayStation 5 is Moving for More Realistic GraphicsOne game that reveals itself in this PlayStation 5 live stream is Returnal. At first, it looks like something from the series, Alien. However, this wasn’t the case. Returnal looks like a survival where an explorer has to find their off of the planet they’ve landed on. One of the most interesting things about this game is the raise in detail. Clearly, Returnal is made for the PlayStation 5. In no way would anyone see this game and think it was on the PlayStation 4. The backgrounds, textures, and even character models are significantly different. In fact, the character models are what is the most intriguing part of this trailer. Unlike other games, Returnal has one of the more realistic looking human character models that has been seen.
We don’t know the whole details of this game so far. With that said, more information will become available letting viewers gain access to what is to come. Returnal pushes the possibility of what will come for the PlayStation 5. Which is what Sony is trying to show with the PlayStation 5. With Returnal showing the potential power of the PlayStation 5, Sackboy: A Big Adventure shows the variety of games coming.
The PlayStation 5 Live Stream Shows a Returning PlayStation Icon of Sackboy: A Big Adventure
One game that this PlayStation 5 live stream reveals is Sackboy: A Big Adventure. Throughout the history of PlayStation, there’s always a game from the Sackboy franchise in each PlayStation console. This particular franchise is incredibly popular for parties and families. Mainly, this is because of the multiplayer capability. From what we can see in this gameplay trailer, this game requires a lot of teamwork and cooperation. Additionally, the graphics of this game are incredibly colorful and high quality. With these two figures in mind, this game is a perfect place for families to play together. Especially for parents who want their children to experience the PlayStation 5.
This means that more independent video game companies can come to PlayStation about family games. Furthermore, this game is a candidate to show what potential for party and family games. While PlayStation introduces a new Sackboy game, Destruction AllStars comes in to cause mayhem and chaos.
Destruction AllStars Brings a Bunch of Chaotic Fun to this PlayStation 5 Live Stream
The next game that the PlayStation 5 live stream reveals is is Destruction AllStars. At first glance, this game looks like either Twisted Metal or Rocket League. Honestly, I was half expecting a Rocket League 2 since the first one is incredibly popular. Regardless, Destruction AllStars is a fighting game with cars. Essentially, players are put into teams where they have to destroy the other team. Immediately, this game catches many eyes with its action and high pace gameplay. Fighting games tend to grab anyone’s attention. Much like the games Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. With that said, Destruction AllStars looks incredibly fun and will no doubt be a high seller for the PlayStation 5. Which raises a lot of questions to potential fighting games. What other fighting games are going to be coming to the PlayStation 5?
This particular game shows again that the fighting genre is stronger than ever. More importantly, Destruction AllStars brings together fun destruction, high action, and spectacular graphics. With this game releasing, this PlayStation 5 live stream brings another curve ball game with Kena: Bridge of Spirits.
An Animation Company Joins the Video Game Industry with Kena: Bridge of SpiritsKena: Bridge of Spirits is a game that not many were expecting. The graphics and setting are incredibly similar to the film, Ne Zha. Regardless, Kena: Bridge of Spirits revolves around Kena who uses her abilities to help spirits. First off, this game looks incredible. The animation is outstanding. Far better than anything that has been seen before. At some points, my mouth was wide open. Just by how amazing this gameplay trailer looks. Not only the gameplay but the music as well. The music has a ton of Japanese flutes and other instruments. Kena: Bridge of Spirits is a bridge between production companies making videogames. Showing companies that they can try to make their own game. This game has a ton of potential to show new creators to make games.
While Kena: Bridge of Spirits shows the potential games coming to the PlayStation 5, another game name Goodbye Volcano High shows the path for future graphic novel games.
A New Graphic Novel Game Goodbye Volcano High Surprises Fans at this PlayStation 5 Live Stream
This is an official gameplay screenshot from Goodbye Volcano High. According to PlayStation’s official YouTube channel under the video [ENGLISH] PS5 – THE FUTURE OF GAMING SHOW, Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC states the fact that “the credits in addition to the rights of Goodbye Volcano High belong to KO_OP” (30:59). This image is on PlayStation’s official website under the article, “PlayStation 5 Is Coming: Sign up for PS5 Details.”
This PlayStation 5 live stream brings in Goodbye Volcano High. From first glance, this game looks like a graphic novel game. Essentially, a graphic novel game is a game that focuses more on dialogue, story, and characters. Which means that most of these games aren’t like typical videogames with action and typical gameplay. However, over the years, graphic novel games have become incredibly popular including Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator for instance. So, it makes sense this PlayStation 5 live stream would have a graphic novel game. From what we see in this trailer, it looks interesting. Goodbye Volcano High is about senior high school anthropomorphic dinosaurs as they try to figure out what they want to do with their lives.
Now, at first glance, Goodbye Volcano High looks like a coming on age shoujo. For those who are unaware, a shoujo is a type of anime that involves romance and a high school setting. Anyway, one of the interesting things about this game is the character designs. Each of the characters are different and have unique designs. With this new game announcement, this shows that PlayStation is moving forward with variety. Being able to share new experiences and different types of games shows how open the PlayStation 5 will be. With this in mind, PlayStation is also experimenting with new games for older franchises like Oddworld: Soul Storm.
Oddworld: Soul Storm Brings a Platform, Post-Apocalyptic Classic onto the PlayStation 5This PlayStation 5 live stream shows that older franchises are creating new games. One of these is Oddworld: Soul Storm. At first glance, this game has a dark yet charming look to it. The character designs look like something out of a post-apocalyptic series. As such, the pain of the characters is clear on their faces. From what is seen in this trailer, this game looks like a platformer with shooting capability. Personally, I don’t know anything about this series. However, many individual’s excitement is incredibly high. Yet, this trailer perks mine and many other’s interests in this series. That’s one of the things that this PlayStation 5 live stream shows. This live stream shows how older series are coming back to make newer games for the PlayStation 5. Additionally, this trailer perks the interest of those who have yet to experience this franchise.
From Oddworld: Soul Storm, the next game that this PlayStation 5 live stream brings is an incredibly popular Japanese game series, Ghostwire: Tokyo.
Ghostwire: Tokyo Make a Return to PlayStation During the PlayStation 5 Live StreamJust as Oddworld: Soul Storm is making a comeback for the Oddworld series, so too is Ghostwire: Tokyo. Set in an eerie modern Japan, this first-person style game has the player battling demons and other abominations. One of the interesting factors about this game is that Ghostwire: Tokyo has some of the more realistic graphics. Yet, this game has supernatural elements thrown in as well. For those who have experience in this franchise, this teaser trailer will bring tons of excitement. At the same time, those who have yet to experience this franchise will see this trailer and perk some interests. Undoubtedly, Ghostwire: Tokyo wants to bring the player into a much more realistic Japan. Which shows extremely well within this teaser trailer we got.
This shows that PlayStation is allowing videogame creators to use the power of the PS5 to create realistic worlds. More specifically, worlds that would be incredibly realistic to anyone who has been in that location. Also, Ghostwire: Tokyo keeps some elements like magic and superstitions alive to make the game engaging as well as engaging. Without a doubt, Ghostwire: Tokyo will gain a lot of popularity as more become familiar with this franchise. While Ghostwire: Tokyo brings more realistic worlds, Jett: The Far Shore expresses the changes coming to search adventure games with Jett: The Far Shore.
A New Game Name Jett: The Far Shore Expresses New Searching Adventure Games for the PlayStation 5Within this PlayStation 5 live stream, viewers get to see a new searching, adventure game name Jett: The Far Shore. From what we can see in the trailer, this game looks incredibly massive. The player flies around in a spacecraft around a world exploring. Surely, there’s going to be more to this game that what they lead on within this trailer. However, there’s not a lot to go off from what we see. Regardless, this trailer shows the viewers a little bit of information. From what we do see, Jett: The Far Shore appears to be an exploration, searching, and adventure game. At first glance, this world looks massive. This can be because of how small the ship is. Unless that’s what the developers want us to believe.
Exploration games have always had a sense of feeling overwhelm. In order to have the player wanting to explore every part of what they can discover. Undoubtedly, fans won’t have to wait exceptionally long to receive some information regarding this game. With that said, Jett: The Far Shore expresses that the PlayStation 5 extremely powerful so that companies can make massive exploration worlds. Jett: The Far Shore has a ton of potential as to showing the next generation of exploration games. Much like Jett: The Far Shore could change exploration games, Godfall could change the fighting, role-playing genre.
This PlayStation 5 Live Stream Reveals a New Fighting Possibly Role-Playing Game Name Godfall
The next game that this PlayStation 5 live stream reveals is Godfall. One of the things that is interesting about this game is the character designs. These characters are high-end warriors with different abilities and technicalities. With that said, this trailer doesn’t exactly show what genre this game is in. Unfortunately, the selection of music can affect how audiences can view a trailer and a game. Especially when there’s no dialogue to convey what world players are jumping into. However, from what we see in this PlayStation 5 live stream, this game is more than likely a role-playing, fighting game. At the same time, this game could be an online game where players play with different warrior gods.
Regardless, Godfall shows what the PlayStation 5 is working towards. The character models are incredibly detailed looking. Above all, this game has an incredibly smooth animation. In fact, some of the animation this trailer has to show is extremely exciting. If a potential new game has such smooth animations, then this means that the PlayStation 5 has no buffering issues. Without a doubt, this news is game-breaking since that is one of the issues with the PlayStation 4. Alas, Godfall is showing viewers that the fighting and potentially role-playing genre will change after the PlayStation 5. Whereas, a new game Solar Ash shows the new changes coming to platformer independent games.
A New Indie Game Solar Ash Shows a Beautiful Platform Coming to the PlayStation 5
Unlike the previous game Godfall, the next game reveals Solar Ash shows how powerful platformers could be. To clarify, the amount of detail and originality that players can see in Solar Ash is huge. Set in a unique universe, Solar Ash has the player jumping over platforms and going through warp tunnels. Like many independent games otherwise known as indie games, Solar Ash has a lot of potential. This game is incredibly smooth and absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, we don’t know a whole lot about Solar Ash. Regardless, the music, gameplay, and world is enough to get a lot of player’s excitement high. Which is how a teaser trailer should be. One that shows the audience potential coming from the game in addition to the console. From what we see already, Solar Ash looks like a massive game. Something where players will be able to explore and learn more about.
Without a doubt, more information will release about this game within the next few months. Especially since this game won’t be coming out until 2021. Solar Ash proves once again that the PlayStation 5 is pushing more deeper and more expansive games. Much like another franchise making its final appearance with Hitman 3.
PlayStation 5 Live Stream Reveals a New Hitman with Hitman 3
The final installment in the Hitman series, Hitman 3 reveals itself in this PlayStation 5 live stream. The Hitman series is extremely popular receiving several games and even a feature film. Then, this PlayStation 5 live stream reveals Hitman 3. The first thing that’s eye-catching graphics. I know that I’ve discuss the graphics of the PlayStation 5 throughout this whole article. However, this one factor shows how powerful the PlayStation 5 will be. The character models, textures, lighting, and shadows are nothing like anyone has ever seen. While the trailer doesn’t show a lot, it gives viewers enough to bring excitement.
Especially since this is the last installment, being able to have the most update graphics is incredibly exciting. Even to the point of helping other gamers get into the franchise. Not only this but this reveal shows the potential of other games coming back to the PlayStation 5. The amount of potential is huge for what can come with this new PlayStation 5. While we see this new Hitman game, viewers get to see the opening menu of the PlayStation 5.
PlayStation 5 Live Stream Shows Off the Menu of the PS5With all of the games that this PlayStation 5 live stream has to offer, we got to see the opening menu for the PlayStation 5. While minor, this little moment is vital. Essentially, gamers remember a console base on their opening like the GameCube, PlayStation 1, or X-Box 360 for instance. So, viewers getting a view of the opening menu shows what the PlayStation 5 has to offer. With that in mind, the opening we see is nice and genuine. It’s simple yet memorable at the same time. Much like the current PlayStation 4’s opening menu.
While we do get to see the opening menu, we don’t get to see the home menu of the PlayStation 5. That one is still up in the air. Honestly, keeping as much hidden is the best way to go. So then, players can be surprise as to what the home menu looks like. Regardless, from what we see in this PlayStation 5 live stream, the PlayStation 5 has a wonderful opening menu. With the reveal of the ever returning opening menu, the Astro’s Playroom is also making a return with more hidden gems.
Astro’s Playroom Makes a Return onto the PlayStation 5One of the returning avenues of the PlayStation 5 that this PlayStation 5 live stream reveals is the Astro’s Playroom. When the PlayStation 4 releases to the public, a game comes preloaded in every console. This game is Astro’s Playroom. Basically, this game is a fun little game to get familiar with the PlayStation. These little robots play around in the controller and little effects can happen. It’s a fun game for kids and families to learn more about how to work the PlayStation. With Astro’s Playroom, this game changes from the original playroom. Instead of learning how everything works, players will control a little robot going through various puzzles and other avenues.
Honestly, this little game looks like a lot of fun. Teaching people how to use the PlayStation 5 sure. However, the little things that they throw in are for fans of the PlayStation. This game while not game-breaking, Astro’s Playroom shows that PlayStation can create entertaining yet educational games. While Astro’s Playroom shows players how to learn the PlayStation 5, another game coming soon name Little Devil Inside teaches about how stop motion hasn’t gone away.
The PlayStation 5 Live Stream Reveals A New Indie Cartoon Game Name Little Devil InsideAfter we see the new Astro’s Playroom, a new indie game came into this PlayStation 5 live stream name Little Devil Inside. Little Devil Inside takes place in a cartoonish universe with monsters and other creatures. One of the interesting things is that this trailer shows two different characters. One is a young man while the other is an older gentleman. Is this like a creature hunter or an explorer doing deeds for the older man? Again, this trailer doesn’t have a whole bunch of details. Yet, Little Devil Inside’s trailer shows enough to perk a lot of interests.
The art style is also a curious factor as well. Honestly, Little Devil Inside reminds me a lot of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. Just the style of animation where its fluid while is incredibly smooth and eye appealing. Without a doubt, this game shows that the PlayStation 5 has the potential to have a lot of fun and unique indie games. Especially since many indie games have made a name for consoles in the past. Like for instance, one game that comes to mind is Cuphead. With that in mind, Little Devil Inside has a ton of potential to be an amazing game. Additionally, this also shows that the PlayStation 5 can be a staple to independent adventure games. While the PlayStation 5 has potential with the adventure indie genre, the sports genre is also getting a revamp with NBA 2K21.
NBA 2K21 Plays onto the PlayStation 5
While the cartoonish game Little Devil Inside shows the imaginative minds coming to PlayStation, 2K shows their own project with NBA 2K21. Normally, every year there’s at least one or more sport games 2K makes. Generally, it’s a popular sport like Football, Soccer, Baseball, or Hockey. This reveal shows that 2K is working on the PlayStation engine to make the new NBA 2K21. From what we see in the teaser, the game’s detail looks incredible. Granted, the only thing we see in this teaser is one player playing on a basketball court. There’s no teammates, crowd, or referees on the court. All of these factors determine how well a game will function. However, from what we see now, the character model detail is insane. Undoubtedly, 2K will fill in fans with more information as the months leading forward.
Regardless, this PlayStation 5 live stream shows how powerful sports games will be in the future. Meaning fans of sports games will be able to play with their favorite teams in the most realistic graphics imaginable. There’s no doubt that fans of sports game’s excitement is incredibly high. Which shows again what PlayStation is pushing forward in the future. While sport games are receiving a massive change, so too has adventure games.
A Familiar Team Returns to the PlayStation 5 to Create Bugsnax
A familiar adventure video game company returns to the PlayStation 5. Bugsnax is made by Young Horses Inc. which is the same company that made Octodad. For those who don’t know, Octodad was a simple yet incredibly difficult game. It won tons of awards and releases on many consoles. Then, this PlayStation 5 live stream reveals this new project Bugsnax. From what we see in the trailer, this game has the same colorful demeanor as Octodad. However, Bugsnax is significantly different. Players can use pieces of food to change the shape of the character. The wacky and crazy gameplay is something that is expected from Young Horses, Inc.
Like many other trailers, we don’t have a lot of information about this game besides the gameplay. Yet at the same time, Bugsnax’s animation and characterization are incredibly interesting. Which is where PlayStation wants to do moving forward. Being able to bring games to the PlayStation 5 that are unique and different. Much like we see in the trailer of Bugsnax. Undoubtedly, this game will be popular when it finally releases. While Bugsnax brings a familiar team back to PlayStation, Demon’s Souls is receiving a remaster onto the PlayStation 5.
The Long-Awaited Remaster Demon’s Souls Comes to the PlayStation 5While the PlayStation 5 live stream shows a loveable fun game, this live stream also shows a remake coming with Demon’s Souls. Essentially, this game is incredibly challenging. Since it’s made by the same company that makes the Dark Souls series. Which if anyone watches gaming on YouTube will see the countless number of rage compilations of Dark Souls. Anyway, Demon’s Souls is a remake of an incredibly popular game. As I state before, remakes are a perfect way for a company to transition to a new engine. Plus, remakes help get players into a new franchise without playing the original. If anything, remakes help get players either familiarize or remember a franchise.
With what we see in this trailer, a lot is going on. The player has to face up against huge bosses and enemies. Each of them is massive that will more than likely cause a lot of damage. While this game looks difficult, Demon’s Souls looks like a fun role-playing game at the same time. While Demon’s Souls remake is coming, a new first-person shooter story name Deathloop is coming to the PlayStation 5.
This PlayStation 5 Live Stream Displays Deathloop and Changes Coming to First-Person Shooters
From a remake, viewers get to see a new first-person shooter game. Within the video game industry, first-person shooters have always made a presence. Particularly, some gamers purchase consoles for first-person shooter games. Regardless, Deathloop is different than typical first-person shooter games. As a matter of fact, this game reminds me of the series, Bioworld. A first-person shooter while having a fun and engaging story. From what we can see in this trailer, this game looks incredibly fun while difficult at the same time.
Meaning that players will be able to have a challenge while having fun. One of the things that PlayStation 5 is striving for is creating games that are immersive yet engaging. Which is exactly what Deathloop has to offer. With the wide range of characters, there’s bound to be many moments of hilarity and fun. Without a doubt, Deathloop has sold itself as one many fans will keep an eye on before release. While Deathloop is continuing to push the first-person shooter genre, Village: Resident Evil brings all different types of surprises.
Village: Resident Evil Shows the Darker World Coming to the PlayStation 5
After we see the first-person shooter game Deathloop, viewers got a huge wakeup call with Village: Resident Evil. At first, this game didn’t seem like a Resident Evil game. Typically, Resident Evil games contain monsters and other creatures to kill. Whereas, Village: Resident Evil doesn’t seem like a typical game in the series. To be fair, this game is a reminder of Silent Hill: PT. Now, I’m aware that Resident Evil and Silent Hill are two different franchises. Even though, Village: Resident Evil keeps its suspenseful and supernatural elements. While I personally am not a fan of the Resident Evil series, many in the video game industry are huge fans. The fact that Capcom is working on a much deeper and darker Resident Evil shows a lot. It shows that the PlayStation 5 allows video game companies to create grand worlds.
While Capcom continues to make Village: Resident Evil, they also threw a curveball and gave fans a new franchise name Pragmata.
Capcom Throws a Curveball within this PlayStation 5 Live Stream with Pragmata
After this PlayStation 5 live stream reveals the new Village: Resident Evil, they completely threw a curveball with Pragmata. Once again, Capcom has been hard at work working on several large games. Pragmata game takes place in a post-apocalyptic universe. In the teaser trailer, we see, a little robotic girl and a person in a spaceman suit escape from a dying Earth. One of the things that incredibly interesting about this game is the amount of detail. True, this game is easily in an early alpha stage. Simply meaning that Pragmata is still in much development. Yet, the alpha trailer we saw looks incredible.
Which leans again on the capability of the PlayStation 5. Within a previous PlayStation 5 live stream, people at Sony states that the graphics card can be removed for something else. Something with much more power. If that’s the case, Pragmata is the perfect game that could show off what other graphic’s cards or what the PlayStation 5 could do. Regardless, viewers have made a ton of theories as to the story of Pragmata. More importantly, showing Pragmata at this event was incredibly beneficial. In order to show off the capability of the PlayStation 5. Another game that shows off the capability of the PlayStation 5 is Horizon: Forbidden West.
This PlayStation 5 Live Stream Reveals Horizon: Forbidden West with More Action than BeforeOne of the last games that this PlayStation 5 live stream presents is Horizon: Forbidden West by Guerrilla Games. Previously, Guerrilla Games made Horizon: Zero Dawn. Which did incredibly well with its unique gameplay as well as world. Not surprisingly, there’s a sequel being made to an incredibly popular game. Compare to the first game, Horizon: Forbidden West looks a lot more complex. With more characters, robotic monsters, and a massive world. In fact, this sequel looks a lot more expansive and interesting than the first game. Granted, I never did play Horizon: Zero Dawn. Yet, I was always a fan of how much detail is in this series.
With that in mind, Horizon: Forbidden West proves that PlayStation is working towards letting creators create expansive worlds. Given what we see in this trailer, Horizon: Forbidden West gives a lot for the players to investigate and play. Which is exactly what PlayStation is planning on taking the PlayStation 5. While this PlayStation 5 live stream shows the precise capability of the PS5, this live stream finally releases the PS5 console.
After So Much Anticipation, Viewers Get a Console Reveal During the PlayStation 5 Live Stream
Last but not least, this PlayStation 5 live stream reveals the PlayStation 5 console. Not long after this reveal, this PlayStation 5 live stream reveals that there’s going to be two different versions of the PS5. More specifically, one that is strictly digital while the other one has a disk reader. Many video game companies have made a transition to straight to digital games. However, many gamers haven’t yet made the transition. Therefore, it’s incredibly smart for PlayStation to cater to both digital and physical gamers. This is a huge moment since this hasn’t been made before. From what we see from this live stream, the console looks incredibly futuristic and quite easy on the eyes. Instead of the typical black design, PlayStation decides on reverting back to a white with hints of black. Additionally, we get to see some blue light illuminating from the console.
Both designs of the PlayStation 5 look incredibly smooth while looking like a fun console to try out. While we saw the consoles, viewers of this PlayStation 5 live stream also got to see PS5’s new headphones, remote, and new PlayStation camera. Each and everyone one reflect the similar design of white with a hint of black. Honestly, this reveal is exactly what PlayStation is shooting for. The idea that they’re pushing the console forward while still holding on to the past in more ways than one. Personally, this design is absolutely brilliant as it brings variety yet familiarity. With what this live stream has to offer, PlayStation is moving into the next generation while keeping into consideration their fans and creators as well
