The Coronavirus Has Cause a Worldwide Pandemic

Within the past few weeks, the Coronavirus has become a worldwide pandemic.  With the infection infecting hundreds of people, countries and states are fighting to keep the virus at bay.  As a result, countries, as well as states, are closing everyday activities.  This includes church services, concerts, sporting events, and schools for example.  In fact, the film industry has also postpone several film releases.  Even some film production companies have stop production because of concerns regarding the Coronavirus.  With this change in the country, we here at Geek Street Society have been monitoring the news as well.  This is why we have come to the decision as a team to change film reviews on our website.  In this news article, Geek Street Society is changing film reviews on our website to focus more on online films in the mix of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Geek Street Society Focuses on the Safety of Its Staff During These Uncertain Times

Here at Geek Street Society, we ensure that our content is the best that it can be.  However, with the growing concerns of the Coronavirus, we want to ensure the safety of our writers.  Individuals who go out opening nights as well as weekends to get film reviews ready. In order for our Geek Street Society members to experience a new perspective review.  With that said, the threat of the Coronavirus can’t be unheard.  Geek Street Society has made it clear that we care for the safety of our writers.  Therefore, until further notice, film reviews will take place on official streaming sites.

Until Further Notice, Geek Street Society is Changing Film Reviews to Streaming Sites

With the growing market of online streaming, there’s plenty of content that we here at Geek Street Society can review.  If anything, this can be an opportunity to explore new avenues of original online films.  Especially with the Coronavirus keeping us all social isolation.  This can be an opportunity for us to dive deeper into Disney +, Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution, Netflix originals, Amazon origins, and so much more.  On the other hand, this is where members can help us.  If there’s a film that we’re not aware of, fill free to let us know.  Members can post recommendations as well as alerts to films on our Facebook and Twitter on what films we should cover.  Then, we as a community can create these pieces together.

Even though there’s a lot of uncertainty right now, Geek Street Society and members can come together to create the best content around.  Which is what we strive to do.  We thank you for understanding in these trialing times.  However, we want to ensure that we’ll work extremely hard to provide our members with the best content possible.  Although there will be some change, this change will help be stronger than before.
